Why Piano?

Many reasons:
  • Learning piano is more enjoyable than other instruments. Since learning piano is relatively easy, the student can learn to play songs much faster than on other instruments. This will motivate them to study more.

  • Piano is much easier to learn than other instruments, such as guitar or violin, yet is an excellent stepping stone to other instruments.

  • Studies show learning music improves school performance, learning languages, & memorization.

  • Learning to play the piano means you'll be able to play other instruments, such as Organ, Harpsichord, and the many, many instruments that can be played via synthesizer.

  • The piano has, and likely always will be, the easiest instrument to use for composing and it is a key instrument in popular music (jazz, blues, & rock) for performance.

  • Piano is the best instrument to use for learning theory.
